ulasan pencekik: steakout jb

so again we went for food hunt kt area jb..plan asal (mesti kena ada plan asal yg lpstu berubah hihi) nak ke tony romas sbb 2 hari lps suami pi makan steak dekat spice & grill dgn colleagues dia tu yg semangat nk suruh bini dia try steak. n kwn2 dia semua recommend tony romas since kt johor dah ada tony romas n of course lah tony romas n steak klw org kl mmg dah tak heran. but then kitorang usha2 steakhouse lain area jb ni ada a few more, n as usual kalau ikut kepala aku mmg la aku lg suka try hipster cafes cmni especially if they are only available in johor kan. then, lps kiotang usha n go trough the list, kitorang decide to try the steak dekat cafe steakout. location yg senang nk pegi n since aku mmg nk support bumiputera punya business kt area johor ni, mmg cantik lah. owner steakhouse ni mmg budak melayu pun. oh and location kt belakang jakel besar nk ke angsana tu. kt area2 kedai tudung banyak2. steakout ni kt depan jalan besar je so takyah nk masuk n pusing2 the whole taman perindustrian bbu tu pun. 

26 thun hidup, ni first time nk try original steak. siap dah set nk try medium rare punya steak seklai smpai sana boleh lupa pulakkk nk pesan to make it medium rare so diorang buat well done.hihi bukan rezeki.

ada macam2 nama bahagian daging yg kita boleh pilih klw makan steak kt steakhouse ni, and semua bahagian rasa ada lain sikit. paling ketara klw amek mcm tbone compare dgn tenderloine.sbb  tbone ni daging yg berotot so dia less juicy n tenderloine pulak bhgn daging yg semata2 daging so bahagian ni selalunya lebih tebal dan lembut n rasa lebih 'lembu' if ya know wadda meannn. nah ini some reference psl potongan daging lembu utk steak. 


okay. move on to the menu. untuk our first visit n our first steak experience jugak, kitorang order potongan daging tbone dan rib eye. as recommended by budak yg amek order tu lah, dia kata rib eye mcm tenderloine n bhgn2 yg takde tulang tu so rasa lembu lebih kuat. and rib eye antara yg paling murah. pastu dia kata lg satu boleh try tbone klw nk rasa different flavour of steak and of course tbone lebih murah lagi.

taste: selalunya klw kita order beef steak kt kedai2 biasa diorang akan serve part tbone ni lah, cuma klw dekat steak house cmni boleh beza la daging dia masih segar n perapan dgn cara masak tu almost perfect compare dgn klw beli kt kedai biasa yg slalunya harga pun dlm rm 13-15 cmtu je. servings quite big, potongan kentang tu sedap n diorang serve dgn grilled vegies which is ringan n sesuai utk makan dgn daging

taste: betul. rasa 'daging' dia lgi kuat sbb part yg ni cuma daging dan lemak. except for  cara masak. kalau amek bahagian daging cmni mmg kena order medium rare kot. bila masak well done, dia still juicy tp ada sikit liat. klw korang bukan peminat daging lembu toksah lee order rib eye ke serloine ke tenderloine ke, sbb rasa daging dia serius kuat. dgn perapan yg betul pun masih kuat rasa daging tu. tp klw aku, aku, suka la pulakk

macam biasa lah, since kitorang bwk si kecit yg suka kepoh2 dekat kedai makan ni kitorang amek seats kt luar so tk kacau diners kt dlm yg tgh layan makan daging smbil daging menari2 dlm mulut diorang
si kepoh ddudk kt baby chair, makan kentang. nk order apa2 mesti kena ada yg something dia boleh makan. so klw makan western kitorang akan order menu yg ada kentang or at least buah2 so boleh bg kt dia sikit.



so yup, my first steak experience went well. terus rasa mcm oficially jadi penggemar steak dah.kikiki. but next time kena try yg msk medium rare pulak. and for those yg nk try steak kt johor ni, steakout ni kira recommended la sbb strategic location and reasonable price. go visit diorang punya instagram @steakout.my
